The geography of the continental area is eventful in the western zone, where the Rocky Mountains are placed. In the zone North-East they find the Appalachians and in the region southwest Mexican Mother begins the Saw.In the northern part, the continental states share border with Canada, and Alaska, with the Arctic Ocean; in the southern part they border on Mexico and the Gulf of Mexico; in the eastern part one finds the Atlantic Ocean, and in the western part, the Pacific Ocean.
